The Public Act 56 Consortium (PA56) is composed of Berrien County's fourteen
K-12 public schools, one charter school and the Berrien Regional Education
Service Agency. It's the responsibility of the PA56 Consortium to coordinate the
Career & Technical Education classes offered to area high school students.
It is the policy of the PA56 Consortium members that no person on the basis of
race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, weight, height, marital status, arrest
record, genetic information, handicap condition or disability, or any other legally
protected characteristic, shall be discriminated against, excluded from participation
in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any
state or federally funded program or activity for which the Berrien Regional Education
Service Agency, or any member of the PA56 Consortium, is responsible, or for which
it receives state or federal financial assistance from the Department of Education. In
addition, arrangements can be made to ensure that the lack of English language skills
is not a barrier to admission or participation in Career & Technical Education programs.
Inquiries related to discrimination should be directed to the hosting school's CTE Director.
Additional inquires can be directed to:
