Granting Economic Credit Through State Approved Marketing Programs: Rollout Conference
Four rollout conferences were held during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 school years. These conferences provided marketing teachers, economic teachers, CTE Directors, counselors, and administrators the opportunity to learn how to:
- Utilize the scope and sequence
- Implement the lesson plans
- Develop a promotional plan
- Work within the collaborative teaching model
- Deliver project based learning (year two)
Benefits For Attendees
Edition I (year one)
- Monday participants will learn how to grant economic credit through State Approved Marketing Programs utilizing the Michigan Collaborative Teaching Model. The 37 lessons have been aligned to all 12 CIP Segments in the GAP analysis format.
- Monday participants will receive one copy of the curriculum alignment, promotional materials and lesson plans.
EDITION II (year two)
- Monday participants will learn how to grant economic credit through State Approved Marketing Programs utilizing the Michigan CollaborativeTeaching Model. The 37 lessons have been aligned to all 12 CIP Segments in the GAP analysis format.
- Monday participants will receive one copy of the curriculum alignment, promotional materials and lesson plans.
- Tuesday participants will receive Project Based Learning training.
- Tuesday participants will receive access to two project-based lessons and an economics end-of-course assessment.
